Introduction to SoftSync

Welcome to the SoftSync user guide.

In this guide, you will understand the requirements for installation, how to configure your application correctly, how to synchronize your projects, as well as other frequently asked questions.

What is SoftSync?


SoftSync is an application developed to synchronize data between Teamwork projects and Jira Software. This software manages tasks, projects, and workflows across platforms. 


1.1 Browser compatibility


To be able to use SoftSync properly, you must have a compatible browser installed on your desktop computer. The SoftSync app supports all the desktop browsers compatible with Jira Cloud. Such browsers include Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari, all of those on their latest stable version.

Although SoftSync is not yet compatible with mobile browsers, we plan to implement this in future versions. For detailed information, see Atlassian Jira Cloud Supported Browsers.

1.2 Cookies Permission

SoftSync uses browser cookies to provide users with a better experience. In order to navigate and use our application, your browser must allow websites to store cookies.

1.3 Jira Platform Support

SoftSync is currently available for Jira Cloud. Jira Server support will be added in future versions.
